SINPROTEC at the 11th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Workshop 2026

Innovation meets operational experience: SINPROTEC recently attended the 11th NATO EOD Workshop 2026 to help shape the future of explosive ordnance disposal.

This month, SINPROTEC attended the 11th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Workshop (EODWS) 2026, hosted by the NATO EOD Centre of Excellence in Šamorín, Slovakia. The event brings together EOD, C-IED, CBRN, DAT, MILENG and related experts from NATO nations and Interoperability Platform countries for two days of structured exchange on the discipline’s most pressing operational challenges.

Advancing in EOD through Unity and Innovation

For SINPROTEC, the event provided a valuable opportunity for direct engagement with the mine action community. Discussions with field practitioners, partners and technical specialists focused on operational priorities, practical challenges and collaboration across delivery environments. These exchanges continue to inform how capabilities are developed and aligned with real-world requirements.

Built by EOD operators, for EOD operators

SINPROTEC was founded by professionals with direct operational experience in the environments its products are designed for. That background is not incidental – it shapes product development, partnerships and how the company works with its customers.

SINPROTEC Chief Sales Officer, Damir Stimac explains: “The workshop brings together EOD specialists who operate where there is no margin for error. For SINPROTEC, it is where requirements are defined with precision and where our capability is tested and refined against them. We are here to engage with the EOD, C-IED, CBRN and MILENG communities, understand the real challenges facing NATO and partner nations, and ensure our work meets those challenges with the rigour they demand. This community sets the standard for the discipline, and SINPROTEC is committed to helping advance it.”

Participation in events such as EODWS is an important part of how SINPROTEC stays connected to the community it serves. Engagement with operators, technical specialists and procurement stakeholders ensures that capability development remains grounded in real-world needs.
